The family Hepialidae comprises the "swift moths", of which five occur in Great Britain:

• Hepialus humuli, ghost moth ‡* — vulnerable

• Hepialus sylvina, orange swift — throughout
• Hepialus hecta, gold swift — throughout (local)
• Hepialus lupulinus, common swift — throughout
• Hepialus fusconebulosa, map-winged swift — throughout (local)
