This is a list of fatal shark attacks in Australia. The Australian Shark-Incident Database has recorded that between 1791 and November 2025 there were 312 fatal shark attacks in Australia. Since 2000 there have been 59 fatal shark attacks in Australia, including 24 incidents since 2020.
