In 2016, all three winners repeated. In addition, Idris Elba won for Outstanding Performance by Male Actor in a Supporting Role for the film Beasts of No Nation. During the 2017 ceremony, The Crown won for performances of Claire Foy and John Lithgow, Stranger Things won for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and Orange Is the New Black won for a third year in a row Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
