Distribution rights to 1997âÂÂ2011 DreamWorks Pictures films are owned by Paramount Pictures, unless mentioned otherwise, while distribution rights to 2011âÂÂ2016 DreamWorks Pictures films are owned by The Walt Disney Company, and distribution rights to 1998âÂÂ2005 DreamWorks Animation films are owned by Universal Pictures, following Comcast and NBCUniversal's acquisition of DreamWorks Animation in 2016.
