Lietava () is a village and municipality in à ½ilina District in the à ½ilina Region of northern Slovakia. Lietava Castle, the third largest castle in Slovakia, is in the village.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in the year 1300 AD.
It has a population ofÃÂ people (31 December ).
