Leon Iosifovich Kovalsky (; 28 April 1940 â 4 June 2023) was a Russian engineer politician. A member of Our Home â Russia, he served in the Federation Council from 1996 to 2006 and was Chairman of the Samara Regional Duma from 1994 to 2001.
Kovalsky died in Samara on 4 June 2023, at the age of 83.
