Richard Vargas Yuzon (May 10, 1977 â May 1, 2021), known professionally as Le Chazz, was a Filipino stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. He became widely known for his appearances in comedy programs on Philippine television and as a co-host of the game show Wowowin hosted by Willie Revillame.
He also appeared in ABS-CBN comedy shows including Banana Split: Extra Scoop and Banana Nite.
Richard Vargas Yuzon, who would later take on the professional name of Le Chazz, was born on May 10, 1977.
He developed an interest in comedy at an early age and later pursued stand-up comedy performances in comedy bars across Metro Manila.
Le Chazz began his career performing in stand-up comedy venues and eventually transitioned to television appearances.
He appeared in ABS-CBN comedy shows such as Banana Split: Extra Scoop in 2011 and later in Banana Nite in 2013.
In 2018, he joined the cast of the GMA Network variety game show Wowowin, hosted by Willie Revillame, where he gained wider recognition as a television comedian. He continued appearing on the show as co-host until 2019.
His last public appearance was a return in Revillame's Wowowin as a guest in February 2021.
On May 1, 2021, Le Chazz was found dead inside his home in Quezon City. According to a close friend, AJ Tamiza, Le Chazz might have died due to complication from diabetes.
