In Greek mythology, Lamia (; Ancient Greek: ÃÂìüùñ) was a daughter of Poseidon, and mother, by Zeus, of the Libyan Sibyl. It was perhaps this Lamia who, according to Stesichorus, was the mother of Scylla.
