Lagocephalus (from Ancient Greek ûñóÃÂà(lagá¹Âs), meaning "hare", and úõÃÂñûî (kephalá¸Â), meaning "head", in reference to its rabbit-like face) is a genus of pufferfishes in the family Tetraodontidae with a circumglobal distribution.
