Narasimha (Maithili: à ¤¨à ¤° à ¤¸à ¤¿à ¤Âà ¤¹) was the twelfth king of the Oiniwar Dynasty in the Mithila Kingdom of the Indian subcontinent. He ruled the kingdom around 1453 CE. He ascended the throne of Mithila Kingdom after the King Harisimha.
Narasimha was born in the royal family of the Oiniwar Dynasty in Mithila. His was the son of the King Harisimha. He was a Maithil Brahmin and belonged to Kashyap Gotra.
Narasimha was married to the woman scholar Dhiramati. He had three sons.
