Kim Hyuk-kyu (; 1 August 1939 â 25 March 2025) was a South Korean businessman and politician, who was a member of the Democratic Liberal Party, the Grand National Party, and the Uri Party. He served as Governor of South Gyeongsang Province from 1993 to 2003 and was a member of the National Assembly from 2004 to 2007.
In 2007, he sought the Uri Party nomination to be its presidential candidate in the upcoming election; however, he later dropped out in opposition to the Uri Party's merger with the Grand Unified Democratic New Party.
Kim died on 25 March 2025, at the age of 85.
