Karol Polejowski

Karol Piotr Polejowski (born 10 May 1969) is a historian-medievalist, translator, from 2021 vice-president of the Institute of National Remembrance.

Biography

He graduated from the University of Gdańsk and obtained his doctoral degree in 2000 under the supervision of . He obtained habilitation in 2016. On 21 November 2025, Sejm voted to reject his candidacy for the president of the Institute of National Remembrance.
