Karashen () is a village in the Tegh Municipality of the Syunik Province in Armenia.
The village is located in the central-eastern part of the province, a short distance from the Vorotan River â a tributary of the Aras River, which, in turn, is a tributary of the Kurá â and the border with Azerbaijan.
The Statistical Committee of Armenia reported its population was 640 in 2010, up from 576 at the 2001 census.
