The Kansas City Red Wings were a professional hockey team that operated in the Central Hockey League for two seasons, 1977âÂÂ78 and 1978-79. They were the top farm team of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings. They played in what was then called Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.
