Kalki was an Indian Tamil-language soap opera originally broadcast on Jaya TV. The production was helmed by Avni Telemedia, with actress Khusbhu Sundar serving as the creative head, story writer, and producer. The series was directed by K. Natraj. The ensemble cast features Tamil film actress Kushboo Sundar in the lead role, supported by performers from the Tamil film and television industry, including Abhishek, Shyam Ganesh, Pooja, Gandhimathi, Delhi Ganesh, Aravind Akash and Vivek Anand
The narrative follows the life of a woman named Kalki (Khusbhu Sundar), who enters into a marriage with Mano (Abhishek), a multimillionaire businessman, following the approval of his family. Beyond her domestic role, Kalki becomes a participant in the management of Mano's commercial enterprises. The central conflict arises when Mano discovers he is suffering from a terminal oncological condition. Anticipating his death and attempting to mitigate the long-term emotional trauma for his wife, Mano begins to feign resentment toward her, intending to create an emotional distance that might facilitate her eventual recovery. Following Mano's death and under unavoidable socio-familial circumstances, Kalki marries his younger brother, Shyam Ganesh. The remainder of the series explores Kalki's resilience in managing the family business while addressing the complexities of her new marital relationship.
