Julius Harvey "Ju" Johnston (August 2, 1905 â December 15, 1980) was an American football and basketball player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Cameron Junior CollegeâÂÂnow known as Cameron UniversityâÂÂin Lawton, Oklahoma from 1934 to 1938. Johnston was the head football and men's basketball coach at New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic ArtsâÂÂnow known as New Mexico State UniversityâÂÂfrom 1940 to 1942.
