Jorian Donovan (born April 5, 2004) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player in the Ottawa Senators organization. His professional career has thus far been with the Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League after being drafted in the 2022 NHL entry draft.
Donovan is the son of former NHL player Shean Donovan. He was born in Calgary, Alberta while his father was a member of the Calgary Flames.
Donovan played junior ice hockey with the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Saginaw Spirit OHL teams. He was selected in the fifth round, (136th overall) by the Ottawa Senators in the 2022 NHL entry draft and signed a three-year entry level contract with Ottawa. He played two further seasons of junior before turning professional, and was a member of the Saginaw 2024 Memorial Cup championship team. He played for Canada in the 2024 IIHF junior world championship.
Donovan joined Ottawa's top farm team Belleville Senators in the 2024-25 season. As an injury call-up, he was elevated to Ottawa on March 24, 2026. He made his NHL debut that night against the Detroit Red Wings. This made Jorian and his father Shean, the first father-son duo to suit up for the Senators in an NHL game.
