The ' ("the commentary of [composed or used in] KÃÂÃ
Âi, i.e. Varanasi") is a commentary on PÃÂá¹Âini, attributed to JayÃÂditya and VÃÂmana, composed in c. the 7th century.
It is considered one of the great grammar texts of Sanskrit after PÃÂá¹Âini's Aá¹£á¹ÂÃÂdhyÃÂyë (4th century BCE), KÃÂtyÃÂyana's VÃÂrtikÃÂs (6th-4th century BCE-unclear), Patanjali's Mahabhasya (2nd century BCE), and Bhartá¹Âhari's VÃÂkyapadëya (6th century CE).
