CÃÂrpinet () is a commune in Bihor County, CriÃÂana, Romania with a population of 1,607 people as of 2021. It is composed of four villages: CÃÂlugÃÂri (Kalugyer), CÃÂrpinet, Izbuc (Vaskohszohodol), and Leheceni (Lehecsény).
The commune is situated at an altitude of , in the western foothills of the Bihor Mountains. It lies on the banks of the river , a tributary of CriÃÂul Negru. It is located at the southern extremity of Bihor County, south of the town of ÃÂtei, on the border with Arad County.
CÃÂrpinet is crossed by national road (part of European route E79), which runs from the county seat, Oradea, to the northwest, to Deva, to the southeast.
