SpaceX, an American aerospace and artificial intelligence company founded in 2002 by Elon Musk, is preparing for a potential IPO, that may occur as early as June 2026. The company is looking at a valuation of up to $1.75 trillion, potentially making it the largest public listing in history.
The IPO would raise up to $50 billion which will allow the company to pursue its long term ambitions, including putting data centers in space to meet computing needs for xAI. The company is favoring a Nasdaq listing and is seeking early inclusion in the Nasdaq-100 index.
