Indigenous Gaming Partners (IGP) is a partnership consisting of five First Nations in Nova Scotia: Glooscap First Nation, Annapolis Valley First Nation, Millbrook First Nation, We'koqma'q First Nation, and PaqêÂÂtnkek First Nation. IGP was formed to manage and invest in gaming industry in Canada, and aims to foster economic development in Indigenous communities and job creation within the partner communities.
In 2024 IGP acquired Pure Casinos in Alberta.
In 2026 it announced it had an agreement to acquire publicly held Gamehost which owns casinos and hotels in Alberta.
IGP was founded in 2024 with the goal of creating sustainable economic opportunities for Indigenous communities in Canada through the gaming industry. The partnership was formed by the five participating First Nations. The partnershipâÂÂs creation was driven by a shared vision of increasing economic development and providing long-term financial stability to the communities involved.
In March 2026, Indigenous Gaming Partners, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Gamehost Inc., a publicly traded company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The proposed transaction includes casino and hotel properties located in Calgary, Fort McMurray, and Grande Prairie, Alberta. The properties will be sold to Vici Properties.
The acquisition is structured as a take-private transaction and forms part of Indigenous Gaming Partnersâ strategy to expand its gaming and hospitality portfolio in Canada. The transaction remains subject to shareholder, regulatory, and court approvals, as well as other customary closing conditions.
IGP is governed by a board of directors, which includes representatives from each of the five First Nations. The current chairperson of IGP is Michael Peters of Glooscap . Leadership decisions are made collaboratively, with input from all member communities.
Sonco Gaming Inc manages the casinos on behalf of the partners.

Pure Casinos operates 2700 slot machines, 94 table games, 36 poker tables, and 110 video lottery terminals. The casinos also have 12 restaurants. The properties are owned by Vici Properties.
