Abà « Muḥammad ÿAbdallÃÂh ibn Jaÿfar (ibn Muḥammad) ibn Durustawayh ibn al-MarzubÃÂn al-FÃÂrisë al-Fasawë al-Naḥwë, best known as Ibn Durustawayh (872 â May 958), was a Persian grammarian, lexicographer and student of the Quran and hadith. He was born in the Persian town of Fasa to Jaÿfar b. Durustawayh (died ), and died in Baghdad.
