I Killed the Count is a 1957 episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. It was adapted from the play of the same name by Alec Coppel.
Alec Coppel had worked on the scripts for a number of Hitchcock films including To Catch a Thief and Vertigo. The adaptation was told over three episodes, the only serialised story in the history of the show. This made it effectively a feature-length movie for television.
The Baltimore Sun felt "it fits perfectly into the suspenseful pattern" of the series and that Williams was "excellent".
The Plain Dealer called it "an amusing mystery" with a "very good" cast.
The Des Moines Register felt the last episode was "an amusing, leisurely chapter with top performances and production."
