Historis

Historis is a genus of butterflies in the family Nymphalidae found from Mexico to South America.

Species

There are two recognised species:

• Historis acheronta <small>(Fabricius, 1775)</small> – dashwing, tailed cecropian
• Historis odius <small>(Fabricius, 1775)</small> – stinky leafwing, Orion
