Hippopotamyrus

Hippopotamyrus is a genus of ray-finned fish in the family Mormyridae, the freshwater elephantfishes. These fishes are found in Africa.

• Hippopotamyrus paugyi <small>Lévêque & Bigorne 1985</small> (Kolente stonebasher)
• Hippopotamyrus pictus <small>(Marcusen 1864)</small> (Marcusen's mormyrid)
