Bǽh-oe-tu

Bǽh-oe-tu (abbr. BOT; ) is an orthography used to write the Haikou dialect of the Hainanese language. It was invented by Carl C. Jeremiassen, a Danish pioneer missionary in Fucheng (present-day Haikou) in 1881.
