Gyà Âdashi Station is served by the 71.7 km Chichibu Main Line from to , and is located 8.3 km from Hanyà «. Chichibuji express services stop at this station.
The station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks.
The station opened on 1 April 1921 as Gyà Âda Station. It was renamed Gyà Âdashi Station from 1 June 1966 to distinguish it from Gyà Âda Station on the JNR Takasaki Line.
In fiscal 2018, the station was used by an average of 1718 passengers daily.
