Guacamaya is a group of plants in the family Rapateaceae described as a genus in 1931.
The only known species is Guacamaya superba, native to the RÃÂo GuainÃÂa region along the border of Colombia (Vaupés and GuainÃÂa) and Venezuela (Amazonas).
