The Goya Award for Best Animated Film (Spanish: Premio Goya a la mejor pelÃÂcula animada) is one of the Goya Awards presented annually by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain (AACCE) since the 4th edition of the awards in 1989. The category was not presented in 1990âÂÂ1993 and 1995âÂÂ1996. It honours the best Spanish animated film of the year.
