Cabinet of Morocco

The Cabinet of Morocco is the chief executive body of the Kingdom of Morocco. It is composed of ministers, including ministers delegate, and is headed by the Prime Minister.

Since the adoption of the 2011 Constitution, the Prime Minister, officially titled Head of Government, is appointed by the King of Morocco from the political party that won the most seats in the parliamentary elections. The members of the Cabinet are proposed by the Head of Government, in consultation with coalition parties, and are subsequently appointed by the King.

As of October 2021, the Cabinet is headed by Aziz Akhannouch, appointed by King Mohammed VI following the 2021 Moroccan general election. The current government includes 24 ministers, among them several ministers delegate, and was sworn in on 7 October 2021.
