Gorzupia is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krotoszyn, within Krotoszyn County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.
The village originated in the Middle Ages and was first documented in 1486, when Jan Rozdraà ¼ewski held hereditary rights to it. By 1494, Gorzupia and the neighboring Smoszew were leased to Stanislaw Sczurski, and in 1507, Hieronim Rozdraà ¼ewski became their heir. The village maintains an agricultural character within the fertile Greater Poland landscape, contributing to the local economy of Krotoszyn County.
