Gorenci is a village in Croatia, under the Vrbovsko township, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
Gorenci is also the name of a village on the Donja Dobra, a village on Lake Ohrid and a village on the Black Drin, as well as a hamlet of ÃÂrnomerec, a hamlet of Kupinec. In addition to streets within the aforementioned, it is also the name of a street in Posavski Bregi.
The Lukovdol-Plemenitaà ¡ road which passes through Gorenci was asphalted in 1981.
Gorenci was hit by the 2014 Dinaric ice storm.
As of 2021, there were only 5 inhabitants under the age of 20.
In 1828/1830, there were 34 residents in 5 families, all Catholic.
In 1870, Gorenci, in Lukovdol's porezna opÃÂina, had 29 houses and 235 people.
In 1890, Gorenci had 47 houses and 283 people. Its villagers were under Lukovdol parish, school and tax districts, but were administered by Severin.
As of its foundation on 3 March 2008, it belongs to the of Lukovdol.
Lukovdol has some rural tourism options, including the call-ahead KrizmaniÃÂ restaurant, serving seasonal food from its garden in summer and goulash, sarma and coleslaw in winter.
Beginning in 2013, the 7 stage long Cycling Trail of Gorski Kotar () passes through Gorenci.
The water storage unit in NadvuÃÂnik, with a capacity of at an elevation of , is also responsible for Lukovdol, PodvuÃÂnik, VuÃÂnik, Gorenci and part of Draga Lukovdolska.
