Gmina Zakliczyn is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Tarnów County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the town of Zakliczyn, which lies approximately south-west of Tarnów and east of the regional capital Kraków.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 12,242 (out of which the population of Zakliczyn amounts to 1,556, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 10,686).
The gmina contains part of the protected area called CiÃÂà ¼kowice-Roà ¼nów Landscape Park.
Apart from the town of Zakliczyn, Gmina Zakliczyn contains the villages and settlements of Bieà Ânik, Borowa, Charzewice, Dzierà ¼aniny, Faliszowice, Faà Âciszowa, Filipowice, Gwoà ºdziec, Jamna, Koà Âczyska, Lusà Âawice, Melsztyn, Olszowa, Paleà Ânica, Roztoka, Ruda Kameralna, Sà Âona, StrÃ³à ¼e, Wesoà Âów, Wola Stróska, Wróblowice, Zawada Lanckoroà Âska and Zdonia.
Gmina Zakliczyn is bordered by the gminas of CiÃÂà ¼kowice, Czchów, DÃÂbno, Gródek nad Dunajcem, Gromnik, Korzenna, Pleà Âna and Wojnicz.
