Gmina Strawczyn is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kielce County, Ã ÂwiÃÂtokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Strawczyn, which lies approximately north-west of the regional capital Kielce.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 9,789.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Suchedniów-OblÃÂgorek Landscape Park.
Gmina Strawczyn contains the villages and settlements of Bugaj, Cheà Âmce, Hucisko, Korczyn, Kuà ºniaki, Maà Âogoskie, Niedà ºwiedà º, OblÃÂgór, OblÃÂgorek, Promnik, Ruda Strawczyà Âska, Strawczyn and Strawczynek.
Gmina Strawczyn is bordered by the gminas of à Âopuszno, Miedziana Góra, Mniów and Piekoszów.
