Gmina Stary Brus is a rural gmina (administrative district) in WÃ Âodawa County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Stary Brus, which lies approximately south-west of WÃ Âodawa and north-east of the regional capital Lublin.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 2,202.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Polesie Landscape Park.
Gmina Stary Brus contains the villages and settlements of DÃÂbina, Dominiczyn, Hola, Kamieà Â, Koà Âacze, Kuà Âaków, Laski Bruskie, Lubowierz, Marianka, Mietuà Âka, Nowiny, Nowy Brus, Pieà Âki, Skorodnica, Stary Brus, Szmokotówka, Wielki à Âan, Woà Âoskowola and Zamoà Âodycze.
Gmina Stary Brus is bordered by the gminas of DÃÂbowa Kà Âoda, Haà Âsk, Sosnowica, Urszulin and Wyryki.
