Gmina Siechnice is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Wrocà Âaw County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Siechnice, which lies approximately south-east of the county and regional capital, Wrocà Âaw. It is part of the Wrocà Âaw metropolitan area.
Until 1 January 2010, the gmina was called Gmina à ÂwiÃÂta Katarzyna and had its seat in the village of à ÂwiÃÂta Katarzyna, located just west of Siechnice. The only urban-rural gmina in Poland that now has its seat in a village rather than in its town is Gmina Nowe Skalmierzyce.)
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019 its total population was 22,396.
Gmina Siechnice is bordered by the city of Wrocà Âaw and by the gminas of Czernica, Domaniów, Kobierzyce, Oà Âawa and à »Ã³rawina.
Apart from the town of Siechnice, the gmina contains the villages of Biestrzyków, Blizanowice, Bogusà Âawice, Durok, Groblice, Grodziszów, Iwiny, Kotowice, à Âukaszowice, Mokry Dwór, Ozorzyce, Radomierzyce, Radwanice, Smardzów, SulÃÂcin, Sulimów, à ÂwiÃÂta Katarzyna, Szostakowice, Zacharzyce, ZÃÂbice and à »erniki Wrocà Âawskie.
