Gmina Ryn is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Già ¼ycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the town of Ryn, which lies approximately south-west of Già ¼ycko and east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 5,986 (out of which the population of Ryn amounts to 3,006, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 2,980).
Apart from the town of Ryn, Gmina Ryn contains the villages and settlements of Bachorza, Canki, Gà Âàbowo, Grzybowo, Hermanowa Wola, Jeziorko, Knis, Knis-Podewsie, Kronowo, Krzyà ¼any, à Âawki, à Âawki PGR, Mioduà Âskie, Mleczkowo, Monetki, Mrówki, Orà Âo, Praà ¼mowo, Rybical, Ryà Âski Dwór, Ryà Âskie Pole, Siejkowo, Skop, Skorupki, Sà Âabowo, Stara Rudówka, Sterà Âawki Wielkie, Szymonka, Tros, Wejdyki and Zielony Lasek.
Gmina Ryn is bordered by the gminas of Già ¼ycko, KÃÂtrzyn, Mikoà Âajki, Mià Âki and Mràgowo.
