Gmina Purda is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Purda, which lies approximately south-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 7,268.
Gmina Purda contains the villages and settlements of Baà Âdy, Baà Âdzki Piec, Biedówko, Bruchwaà Âd, Butryny, Chaberkowo, Gàsiorowo, Già Âawy, Groszkowo, Kaborno, Klebark Maà Ây, Klebark Wielki, Klewki, Koà Âpaki, Kopanki, à Âajs, Linowo, Marcinkowo, Nerwik, Nowa Kaletka, Nowa Wieà Â, Nowy Przykop, Nowy Ramuk, Ostrzeszewo, Pajtuà Âski Mà Âyn, Pajtuny, Patryki, Pokrzywy, Prejà Âowo, Przykop, Purda, Purda Leà Âna, Purdka, Silice, Stara Kaletka, Stary Olsztyn, SzczÃÂsne, TrÃÂkus, TrÃÂkusek, Wojtkowizna, Wygoda, Wyrandy, Zaborowo and Zgnià Âocha.
Gmina Purda is bordered by the city of Olsztyn and by the gminas of Barczewo, Dà ºwierzuty, Jedwabno, Olsztynek, Pasym and Stawiguda.
