Gmina Pogorzela is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Gostyà  County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Pogorzela, which lies approximately south-east of Gostyà  and south of the regional capital Poznaà Â.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 5,157 (out of which the population of Pogorzela amounts to 1,974, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 3,183).
Apart from the town of Pogorzela, Gmina Pogorzela contains the villages and settlements of Bielawy Pogorzelskie, Buà Âaków, Dobrapomoc, Elà ¼bietków, Gà Âuchów, Gà Âuchówek, Gumienice, Józefów Ochelski, Kaczagórka, Kromolice, à Âukaszew, Maà Âgów, MiÃÂdzyborze, Nowiny, Ochla, Paradów, Stawy, Taczanówko and Wziàchów.
Gmina Pogorzela is bordered by the gminas of Borek Wielkopolski, Kobylin, Koà ºmin Wielkopolski, Krotoszyn, PÃÂpowo and Piaski.
