Gmina Pniewy is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Szamotuà Ây County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Pniewy, which lies approximately south-west of Szamotuà Ây and west of the regional capital Poznaà Â.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 11,905 (out of which the population of Pniewy amounts to 7,464, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 4,441).
Apart from the town of Pniewy, Gmina Pniewy contains the villages and settlements of Berdychowo, Buszewko, Buszewo, Cheà Âmno, Dàbrowa, DÃÂbina, DÃÂborzyce, Jakubowo, Karmin, Kikowo, Konin, Konin-Huby, Koninek, Koszanowo, Luboczeà Ânica, Lubosina, Nojewo, Nosalewo, Orliczko, Podborowo, Podpniewki, Przystanki, Psarce, Psarskie, Rudka, Szymanowo, Turowo, Zajàczkowo and Zamorze.
Gmina Pniewy is bordered by the gminas of Chrzypsko Wielkie, Duszniki, Kwilcz, Lwówek, Ostroróg, Szamotuà Ây and Wronki.
