Gmina Pierzchnica is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kielce County, Ã ÂwiÃÂtokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Pierzchnica, which lies approximately south-east of the regional capital Kielce.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 4,778.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Cisów-Orà Âowiny Landscape Park.
Gmina Pierzchnica contains the villages and settlements of Brody, Czarna, Drugnia, Drugnia Rzàdowa, Górki, Gumienice, Holendry, Kalina Górecka, Maleszowa, Osiny, Pierzchnianka, Pierzchnica, Podlesie, Podstoà Âa, Skrzelczyce, Strojnów, Ujny and Wierzbie.
Gmina Pierzchnica is bordered by the gminas of Chmielnik, Daleszyce, Gnojno, Morawica, Raków and Szydà Âów.
