Gmina Ostrowite is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Sà Âupca County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Ostrowite, which lies approximately north-east of Sà Âupca and east of the regional capital Poznaà Â.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 5,069.
Gmina Ostrowite contains the villages and settlements of Doà Ây, Giewartów, Giewartów-Holendry, Gostuà Â, Grabina, Izdebno, Jarotki, Kania, Kàpiel, Kosewo, Lipnica, Mieczownica, Naprusewo, Ostrowite, Przecà Âaw, Sienno, Siernicze Maà Âe, Siernicze Wielkie, Skrzynka Maà Âa, Stara Olszyna, à Âwinna, Szyszà Âowo, Tomaszewo and Tomiszewo.
Gmina Ostrowite is bordered by the gminas of Kazimierz Biskupi, Kleczew, Powidz and SÃ Âupca.
