Gmina Opatowiec is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kazimierza County, Ã ÂwiÃÂtokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Opatowiec, which lies approximately east of Kazimierza Wielka and south of the regional capital Kielce.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 3,599.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Nida Landscape Park.
Gmina Opatowiec contains the villages and settlements of Charbinowice, Chrustowice, Chwalibogowice, Kamienna, KÃÂsów, Kobiela, Kocina, Kraà Âniów, Krzczonów, Ksany, à Âawy, Mistrzowice, Opatowiec, Podskale, Rogów, Rzemienowice, Senisà Âawice, TrÃÂbaczów, Urzuty and Wyszogród.
Gmina Opatowiec is bordered by the gminas of Bejsce, Czarnocin, GrÃÂboszów, Kazimierza Wielka, Koszyce, Nowy Korczyn, Wietrzychowice and Wià Âlica.
