Gmina Olesno is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Olesno County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Olesno, which lies approximately north-east of the regional capital Opole.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019 its total population is 17,726.
Apart from the town of Olesno, Gmina Olesno contains the villages and settlements of Bodzanowice, Borki Maà Âe, Borki Wielkie, Boroszów, Broniec, Grodzisko, Kolonia à Âomnicka, Kucoby, Leà Âna, à Âomnica, à Âowoszów, Sowczyce, Stare Olesno, à Âwiercze, Wachów, Wachowice, Wojciechów and Wysoka.
Gmina Olesno is bordered by the gminas of Ciasna, Dobrodzieà Â, Gorzów à Âlàski, Kluczbork, Krzepice, Lasowice Wielkie, Przystajà Â, Radà Âów and ZÃÂbowice.
