Gmina Markusy is a rural gmina (administrative district) in ElblÃÂ g County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Markusy, which lies approximately south of ElblÃÂ g and west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 4,103.
Gmina Markusy contains the villages and settlements of Balewo, BrudzÃÂdy, Dzierzgonka, Jezioro, Jurandowo, KÃÂpniewo, Krzewsk, Markusy, Nowe Dolno, Nowe KÃÂpniewo, Rachowo, Stalewo, Stankowo, Stare Dolno, Topolno Maà Âe, Tynowo, WÃÂgle-à »ukowo, Wià Âniewo, Zdroje, Zà Âotnica, à »Ã³à Âwiniec, à »urawiec, Zwierzeà Âskie Pole and Zwierzno.
Gmina Markusy is bordered by the gminas of Dzierzgoà Â, Elblàg, Gronowo Elblàskie, Rychliki and Stare Pole.
