Gmina Markowa is a rural gmina (administrative district) in à Âaà Âcut County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Markowa, which lies approximately south-east of à Âaà Âcut and east of the regional capital Rzeszów.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 6,639 (6,617 in 2011).
Gmina Markowa is bordered by the gminas of Chmielnik, GaÃÂ, Hyà ¼ne, Jawornik Polski, Kaà Âczuga and à Âaà Âcut.
Gmina Markowa contains the villages (soà Âectwos) of Husów, Markowa and Tarnawka.
