Gmina Lipsk is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Augustów County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, on the border with Belarus. Its seat is the town of Lipsk, which lies approximately south-east of Augustów and north of the regional capital Biaà Âystok.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019 its total population is 5,129 (out of which the population of Lipsk amounts to 2,326 and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 2,803).
Apart from the town of Lipsk, Gmina Lipsk contains the villages and settlements of Bartniki, Dolinczany, Dulkowszczyzna, Jaczniki, Jaà Âowo, Jasionowo, Kolonie Lipsk, Kopczany, Krasne, Kurianka, Lichosielce, Lipsk Murowany, Lipszczany, Lubinowo, Nowe Leà Âne Bohatery, Nowy Lipsk, Nowy Rogoà ¼yn, Podwoà Âkuszne, Rakowicze, Rogoà ¼ynek, Rygaà Âówka, Sióà Âko, Skieblewo, Soà Âojewszczyzna, Stare Leà Âne Bohatery, Staroà ¼yà Âce, Stary Rogoà ¼yn, Woà Âkusz, Wyà ¼arne and à »abickie.
Gmina Lipsk is bordered by the gminas of Dàbrowa Biaà Âostocka, Nowy Dwór, Pà Âaska and Sztabin. It also borders Belarus.
