Gmina Lipiany is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Pyrzyce County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Lipiany, which lies approximately south of Pyrzyce and south-east of the regional capital Szczecin.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 6,033 (out of which the population of Lipiany amounts to 4,124, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 1,909).
Apart from the town of Lipiany, Gmina Lipiany contains the villages and settlements of Batowo, BÃÂdzin, Brzostowo, Czajczyn, DÃÂbiec, Derczewko, Doà Âà ¼yn, Dzieà ¼no, Gà ÂÃÂbokie, JarzÃÂbnik, Jedlice, Józefin, Krasne, à Âasiczyn, à Âosiniec, Maà Âcz, Miedzyn, MielÃÂcinek, Mielnik, Mierzawy, Mironów, Mokronos, Nowice, Osetna, Piaà Ânik, Poà Âczyno, Przywodzie, Skrzynka, Sokolniki, Sulino, à Âwierszczyki, Wàdóà Â, Wielice, Wojnowice, Woà Âczyn and à »arnowo.
Gmina Lipiany is bordered by the gminas of Barlinek, Myà Âlibórz, Przelewice and Pyrzyce.
