Gmina Krasnystaw is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Krasnystaw County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the town of Krasnystaw, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 9,142.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Skierbieszów Landscape Park.
Gmina Krasnystaw contains the villages and settlements of Bzite, Czarnoziem, Jaà Âlików, Józefów, Kasjan, Krupe, Krupiec, Krynica, Latyczów, Maà Âochwiej Duà ¼y, Maà Âochwiej Maà Ây, Niemienice, Niemienice-Kolonia, Ostrów Krupski, Roà Âsko, Siennica Nadolna; Biaà Âka, à Âany, StÃÂà ¼yca à ÂÃÂczyà Âska, StÃÂà ¼yca Nadwieprzaà Âska, StÃÂà ¼yca-Kolonia, Tuligà Âowy, Widniówka, Wincentów, ZakrÃÂcie, Zastawie-Kolonia and Zaà ¼Ã³à Âkiew.
Gmina Krasnystaw is bordered by the town of Krasnystaw and by the gminas of Gorzków, Izbica, Kraà Âniczyn, à Âopiennik Górny, Rejowiec and Siennica RÃ³à ¼ana.
