Gmina Kochanowice is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Lubliniec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of Kochanowice, which lies approximately east of Lubliniec and north of the regional capital Katowice.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019 its total population was 6,925.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Upper Liswarta Forests Landscape Park.
Gmina Kochanowice contains the villages and settlements of Droniowice, Harbuà Âtowice, Jawornica, Kochanowice, Kochcice, Lubecko, Lubockie, Ostrów, Paweà Âki, Swaciok and Szklarnia.
Gmina Kochanowice is bordered by the town of Lubliniec and by the gminas of Ciasna, Herby, KoszÃÂcin and Pawonków.
